Where to begin? Fall catch up

Things have been pretty busy around here.  I suppose I should start with school.  Ethan and I love school!  He is doing exceptionally well.  He is well liked by his classmates and seems to have adapted well to his hearing buddies and using the FM system.  We have already had a field trip to our local nature center.  I spend roughly 10 hours a week or so in the class/lunchroom helping out.  It really can be crazy at times, but so worth it. 

We took Ethan down to the Hesston Steam Engine Museum.  We had a great time riding the different steam trains and checking out all of the steam powered machines.

Ethan was the black Angry Bird for Halloween.  He was really into trick or treating this year.

We also went to the Gilmore Car Museum in Kalamazoo.  What a great place!  Ethan got to see the original Fabulous Hudson Hornet, that was the actual car that inspired Doc Hudson in the Cars movies.

Thanksgiving was nice.  We spent the holiday with my family.  Cabe and Melissa, and their two boys joined us for dinner.  Ethan just loves his cousins and is looking forward to seeing them again at Christmas.  He and Aidan have a similar interest in Angry Birds Star Wars 2.

Christmas is right around the corner and Ethan was really excited to tell Santa all about the Lego City Fire Station that he must have this year.  He even went into detail about what it is supposed to include.  It was quite adorable. 

Not to be left out, is Ethan's new love of ice skating.  After several attempts around the rink that included several falls and some disappointment, he finally started getting the hang of it.  By the end he was cruising around the rink and even trying to skate backwards!
